well, the crane did it's bidness and is off down the road...............at 15 mphyep, this is how it helped out Jim, John & Matt

july 27th, 2006 --So here we go!!!!

so the day started: pre crane arrival











"IT HAS ARRIVED"......












Munn Lumber had a delivery too---Matt's getting ready for the placement of the trusses on the garage while Jim is guiding the lift wire to start the lift













the 650 lb a piece trussin' has begun (Ralph has come to watch)













Jim's checking to make sure all is level

july 26th, 2006 these guys are GREAT!!!!

well, remember i told you that a deck was going to be built today---yep, it happened, check it out!!!!! the plates are stainless steel and were made by raybo peterson's (a guy that dad ran around with in high school)




say it's TRUSSIN' time!!!! the garage is ready to goJim, John, Matt & Van will be putting these trusses together in the am with the help of a crane-guess the works going to being at 8:30am----i did remind dad to take the camera!!!!
i guess they weigh 650 lbs each---oh my....Barney's guys will deliver the fireplace tomorrow sometime when the crane is there cuz it's real heavy too.....
don't they look like a jigsaw puzzle-----wow!!!!


so according to the "guys" we will be almost level with the cedars--exciting!!! 1/2 story here we come!!!!!
